What Does Sunglasses Say About Our Personalities?

It was a stray thought. Couldn’t find anything on the web, so I thought I’d ask here.So I’m curious, what does the types or styles of sunglasses tell about our personalities? In how some will try many different types, then others only stick to one style and one style only. Do the sunglasses reflect something about ourselves – that we want to hide, or want to shout out?

Freud would say sunglasses say something about our personalities. For example I wear dark sunglasses that hide my eyes. Freud would say that I do this to protect myself from others. To hide my thoughts and protect myself emotionally. On the other hand, the woman who is wearing them on top of her head and have them match the color of her outfit is simply using them as a accessory to add to the attention she is trying to draw to herself. Mostly likely this is due to a feeling of insecurity about herself and a need for praise and acceptance of others acquired by being fashionable.

I think it means, I care about my eyes getting damaged by the sun, and I want people to think I look cool in the process.
