I’ve been coloring my hair myself for years but sometimes I treat myself to a professional using goldwell color. I want to buy the Goldwell color and colorance but there are so many products to choose from that I need some guidance. Can anyone help?

I have dark brown hair, sometimes it looks black, and I want it to be lighter to make it more brown. Since it is dark, I don’t think that some colors close to it will affect it. Do permanent colors change your hair color more than the 28 shampoo wash out ones?
