Many of you know or heard about product called Nioxin, well here is some insight information that not many of you know.
Nioxin, a hair care company that is specializing in hair loss treatments and actually was quite successful on the market, was bought over by Nioxin Company on September 3rd 2008. Now this is some news to those who really depend on this “miracle product”.
Well first questions comes to mind is : will Nioxin be the same?
Based on article at: www.reuters.com
Here is what Nioxin and Procter and Gamble have to say:
“Our goal is to further grow the NIOXIN business with their current organization, brand portfolio and distribution partners,” said Kevin Otero, General Manager, P&G Professional Care, North America. “NIOXIN will be an important part of our portfolio to further maximize our services, education and salon business support. The acquisition strengthens P&G’s continued commitment to grow the salon industry and create new opportunities for our customers, stylists and consumers while building on our professional leadership in the haircolor segment with another strong haircare brand.”None of Nioxin representatives or the Procter and Gamble are saying anything certain about the change. That lives us to just hope for the best ![]()
Some of you already noticed that some of your favorite places ( websites or stores were you used to get Nioxin) are no longer sell Nioxin products. Well, we have some insights on that as well.
All Nioxin products are now controlled by P&G. As you know, Nioxin is a Salon product and is only meant to be sold through the salons ONLY.
Procter and Gamble are really enforcing everyone who used to sell it online to take it off or they will close their accounts with Nioxin. Now you can only purchase you precious product only at the salons that carry it.
We know, there are still many other places where you can get you product such us online stores.
Please note, and this is not something that’s we have came up to just make it more interesting. All Nioxin products have an expiration date even that if they do not show it on the products. The life time on the shelf is 4 years, so be careful buying it from places that you do not know.
None of us really knows what is going to happened with this “miracle product”, may be we all going to be bald after all
