I am experiencing some shedding and brittle ends. I was told that Nioxin would be a good product to help with these issues, but just want to get any advice from those who have used it and have ethnic hair.

I have used, Nioxin but I found that it left my very frizzy brittle hair (i am hispanic) even more dry and caused more breaks.
What I have been doing instead is taking Biotin, everyday ( you can buy it at most vitamin shops like GNC etc.) 500-1000 mg a day. Along with a good deep conditioner once a week.
One thing to remember it will take several weeks (depending on how fast your hair grows) for any difference to show up in your hair, as for the brittle ends I would suggest just going to your hair dresser every 6 weeks or so to have them “trim” your ends.
good luck..
its good for all types of hair, but in your case, you aren’t balding or experiencing thinning…you need to get a deep conditioner and have your ends trimmed every six-eight weeks and keep your hair moisturize….good luck
