How Do You Strip Previously Colored Hair With Out Using Anything Like Bleach?

I colored my hair using Paul Mitchel the Color. Then after doing that a couple times I used a dark PM Shine on my hair and it turned black and now has stained my hair it won’t come out. I have used Backtracks twice which helped some but my hair is still too dark. What can I do with out having to do anything with bleach or like bleach?

    get it professionally done

Dish detergent like “sun” or “dawn” etc. will help. Also shampooing using hot water daily. Use plenty of conditioner if you are trying to strip color as the only way to do so is to open your hair up a little (damage!). The best bet is time. The color will fade in time, be patient wth it or you will fry your hair.

wash your hair with laundry soap a few times in a row, it will get some of the color to come out, but the soap will be very harsh on your hair so you will need to moisturize it very well afterword.

Nothing really. A strong shampoo that doesn’t mention being good for colored hair will fade it a bit.
The best idea is to talk to your hairdresser and see if she knows any specific products that wont dry out your hair.
I usually just wait it out though.

I’m sure there is a product called color oops at Walgreen. just use that.
