How Do Polarized Sunglasses Help My Vision While Driving?

Everything, especially reflections off glass, looks surreal, I kinda like it.

Normally.. everyday use….How do polarized sunglasses work? Well, we are all aware of the fact that light reflection from surfaces like a flat road or smooth water has a horizontal polarization. Such horizontally polarized light is then blocked by the polarizers in the lenses which are vertically oriented. Thus, we can ensure proper eye protection.
There has been no clear evidence that NIGHT driving with polarized glasses does any good.

Generally by reducing glare from shiny objects. The idea is that if you aren’t distracted, or unable to see, due to glares, you’ll be able to view all obstacles while driving.

Because light travels it straight lines and the glasses polarize the light. Hence the name. They only allow light waves to come in from left to right rather than from all angles. If you put one pair of polaroid glassess on top of another and turn them through 90 degrees, you will block out all light.
