A few days ago I was hanging out with some of my buds, and they brought up a few aspects of my fashion that are presently considered no-no’s.
No woven belts and no cuffs on the ankles of your pants? Really?
I mean, I know (and sometimes try to avoid) such mistakes as white sox with black shoes, but I’m starting to think there are lots more ‘rules’ out there of which I am totally ignorant.
So, ladies and gents, what are these ‘don’ts’?…

wow, this is a minefield, i think you’re friends are being a little over critical. i wouldnt wear a woven belt with those kind of pants-you’ll have to forgive me if i call things something else, i’m scottish! but mens apparel is universal, keep to one style at a time, these pants you describe are more dressed up than without turn ups, so the belt being casual does not go with them, the single biggest thing i would advise you is whatever you wear, always make sure its clean & neatly ironed, try to keep styles together and colour co ordinate, its difficult to pick do’s and donts, if you list specifics its easier to say yes or no, but i commend you in taking a pride in your appearance, you will soon learn what suits you, and what you feel comfortable in, rather than following the fashion sheep who have no sense of style of their own, good luck to you
