Does Nioxin Really Really Really Work To Regrow And Strengthen Hair?
I have been told by a few people to try Nioxin for me receding hairline. Will it actually help regrow some of the hair that was lost?? How well does it work? How long?? Details..

ok the one thing you need to know about anything that helps to regrow hair is that the follicle in your head still has to be active, if the follicles are dormant than the hair won’t grow back no matter what you put on it. It can take up to a few months before you see anything, so you have to be consistent with it. Yes Nioxin does work to strengthen hair, and to help regrow if there is an active follicle to regrow. What it does is it clears out your pores on your head to give the hair a chance to grow again. If you have been bald for a while, there is a high chance nothing will grow. I would also try the spray that help with the re grow and the vitamins that they sell as well, i know those help. Its a great product but you have to know how it works before you try it and get disapointed because nothing comes back, it can’t magically grow what isn’t there. good luck.
I strongly recommend this product. I went totally bald on the right side of my head from a poor chemical treatment. I have been wearing wigs while waiting for my hair to grow back, I have also been using Nioxin for 4 months now, the hair is filling in, although not completely, but it is about 4 inches long, which is good for such a short period of time. It comes in a variety of strenghts, so you will want to seek consultation to be sure you have the strenght that is right for you.
It will only preserve the hair you still have please note you have to continually use it . also massaging the scalp is good as it stimulates blood flow and blood flow increases hair growth

I could never really tell a difference.
I’ve been using it for over two years and I am about to give up. I still have a reseeding hairline. Maybe it has slowed the balding but it certainly hasn’t stopped it.
