My hair is very thick, curly, puffy, dried… And let me tell you I have so much hair… It is very damaged from lack of care… meaning treating with mask every week or a deep treatment… I don’t do any of that… cuz of lack of knowledge and lazymess. So, I need a stylist that can help me. I would like to know of someone who uses Deva Curl products or Ouidad. They seem to be really good. And I want to give it a try! I REALLY NEED YOU HELP. I have recently straighten my hair, but it looks so hard, thick and I don’t like running my hands through it. It is really bad. I just can’t have it straight. HELP, PLEASE!

Honey, if you find someone that knows how to style Curly Hair ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD I want you to email me because i’ve been looking for one my WHOLE LIFE and have yet to find a single person that has any idea what they are doing when it comes to Curly Hair.
After being almost shorn becasue the chick couldn’t understand that curly hair CURLES after it dries, I started cutting my own hair.
YOU know how your hair curls so if you pick a style out of a mag, you can usually cut it yourself with good results…
It works for US because you don’t need to worry about getting the cuts 100% straight because our hair just scrunches up when it dries.
As long as you get it “Almost right” you can’t tell once it dries.
If it is dry, use half a dab of body lotion or conditioner and half a dab of styling gel instead of a full dab of styling gel and it will keep your hair shiny and soft.
Also, use a 1/3 of a cup of Mayo in your hair once a month… Mayo is nothing but Oil and Egg Yolks.
The oil and protine help heal hair better then any hair ‘mask’ or hot oil treatment you will ever find.
Just rub it in, wrap your head in a plastic bag or plastic wrap, cover that with a towel, let it sit for 15 min’s, then shampoo twice.
It will solve a LOT of your problems.
*HUG*
Having curly hair is HOT but it is hard to deal with…
Learn to love your hair for whatever it does… We don’t really have much choice in the matter! LOL!
Ask your friend, try to mess with your hair and try to make it.
Might I suggest letting you’re hair find it’s own natural state.
Letting hair do it’s own natural thing is much easier on it than using any processing at all. It lets it heal and become the way it’s meant to be.
Try covering it to protect it. They now have this thing that’s very light, with ties, and bright colors. That can go around you’re whole head to protect iit and looks Kool.
My guess is, any good stylist could take care of it. I tried Holiday and that came out much Kooler than the one’s I was spending big money on.
There styles were much livelier, and more the way there worn now, not years ago like the fancier hair dressers.
Whether it’s cut for straight or especially for curly won’t really matter.
Cause’ if you’re hair is naturally curly it will look good in either style, once it’s shaped properly and thinned out. Same if straight.
It’ll all work out. Take a chance. Groomed is still better than not, and people will notice.
Good Luck!
