Yes, I use photo shop myself and it can make someone look a lot different then they do in person. You can change someones eye color on photoshop or the shape of the eye and you can add make up to someones skin and cover pimples and wrinkles and you can make someone skinny and add some weight and add a bigger cup size or a smaller cup size, if your an expert on photoshop, you pretty much can do all that.
People without pores? Mascara commercials all the girls wear fake lashes….and those proactive commercials……none ever use proactive.
I have done some acting in my past and I have never had acne in my life and I did a commercial for an acne product. I was the “after”!
Its all fake and photoshopped.
I don’t think there is a law against it but the ethical thing to do would be NOT to enhance them. I think they always are though. I just found an article about a famous campaign in which this was mentioned. I hope this helps.
Oh we can bet they are. They can do whatever they want to sell the product. Zoom in closer to see the zits or move away so they are not viseable, apply makeup. you name it.

Yup, they put a disclaimer in -1 font during those that say results may vary. That translates to… “These are not real pictures.”
